“I am worthy of love and respect despite the “look” of my journey.”
Radical Self-Love is seeing all parts of me– past, present and future, while accepting the good, the bad and ugly. The only reality I can alter is the present moment, which will ultimately impact the future. Kissing the “ugly” scars of the past is giving my Self grace, a hug and a message to my younger Self that she’s also enough, worthy and beautiful.
So, now I see how judgmental of my own evolution I can be. This allows me to recognize when, and if, I have projected this onto others, not allowing people the graceful aging and transformation they are also worthy of.
How many other people are out here unconsciously hiding, fearing visibility because they’re worried about what all may come with it? Not just the success, but the buried versions they deemed trash, from the past. Yet in this life we’ve incarnated into, is it better to show up half-way, afraid of the unknown and never truly experiencing the full potential of this opportunity in existence? Or step out, owning all of you, adorning the lessons and wisdom earned along the journey, and authentically living?
I know what I’m choosing.
